I paid $90 (after conversion, including shipping) directly from Lex Records; haven't received it yet. There was a picture of Steve Moore that they flashed to for a brief moment in the trailer advertisement for the boxed set.

The retail price is $70.  Amazon has it for $63: http://www.amazon.com/Unearthing-Dlx-3CD-Alan-Moore/dp/B003TOS84E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1280791561&sr=8-1 (at least they did--now it looks like they're selling it at full price)

How much is the cost?

I thought it was about $50.00?  CDUniverse is one website that sells the deluxe package without any conversion prices I think...

I'm afraid this is too expensive for me right now, especially when you factor in conversion rates and shipping costs.

I'm hoping it will later be released in a smaller package: maybe just a CD with a book.  That I could probably afford.

I really would like to hear it.  Yesterday I was listening to some of his other performance recordings and letting myself get swept away by the sound of his words, and I was thinking I'd really like to hear more from him.  I've already read Unearthing in that London anthology, but it would be nice to hear Moore's performance.

Ok.  I know this board is officially dead but hopefully some of you still check back here every once in a while... Grin

Moore's latest project is being released.  This sounds more and more interesting as the release date gets closer (august release in the U.S.

Anybody been able to get their hands on this over in the U.K.?

The preview clips sound very interesting...  I love the sound effects; I haven't read Moore's unearthing yet in the Ian St. Clair anthology (probably pick that up after I buy the audio box set).  The sound effect and voiceover while laying down the trump card on Steve Moore's fate (at least that's what I assume he's doing?) is especially powerful...  I don't know much about tarot cards but I remember reading something about the "hang man"...

Anyone have a picture of Steve Moore?  Thinking about it, I've never seen what he looks like...

Thanks K, looks pretty awesome.

Is a Ltd Edition box currently available for pre-order at a cheaper price of 50 quid plus 10 for postage anywhere in world.

No sure how much it will be nornally, but as limited edition may not be around long enough.

- Pedro.

#3 is now on sale. The Gorrillaz piece didn't materialise, but the magazine now has a spine (and a giveaway naked lady T-shirt transfer from Gebbie).
